March (not an order)

Where did it go?
Where did that time go?
I'd just recovered from the Wembley defeat and sudddenly we're at the end of March suffering a 7-1 defeat at the hands of Chealsea. Sorry to waffle on about football stuff just need to cleanse myself of my thoughts.
I haven't even had a chance to get my sweet peas on the go, still got parsnips in the ground to dig up and freeze and there's loads of cutting back and pruning to be done, I need time to stand still just to catch up.
The gigs have been really fun and the line up varied.
I've had some great musicians join me in the last month or so.
Katie Marie is becoming a regular to the line up, a singer songwriter in her own right, she's been playing bass, conga, guitar and singing some harmonies. Not bad for a girl.
Beth Porter, a very much in demand cellist who features on the new album has been adding some magic. And finally Mr Tim What Great Ever Changing Facial Hair on fiddle, who saved the day at the Blue Walnut Cafe gig by stepping in at very short notice when unfortunately pedal steel player Alan Cook was unable to get to the gig. After just one brief rehearsal Tim took to the stage and did a grand job. I hope to work with Tim again in the near future.

I've also had some great support acts including Exeter based poet and comedian Liv Torc www.livtorc.moonfruit.com who did a great job of warming the Barrel House crowd in Totnes. Check out her website for more of her dates. So glad you did the 'Porridge' poem Liv. x
Thanks also to Keith Jones fro some lovely folk roots tunes you can find Keith on myspace, love the new song 'Black Sheep' please record it soon.

I think I've gone on enough hope to see you at a gig soon. X
