Had a ball at Exeter FM thank you James
I had a great time last Thursday evening at Exeter FM on the James Santer show. It's always a pleasure having a chat with Mr S so I set off on a rather rainy and wind swept evening to the studio.
I played two songs live in the studio; 'Little Bird' the opening track from the new album 'Matches and Dispatches' and a cover of the Beatles classic 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' which also features on the album. We chatted about the new album of course and the great players who I'd been lucky to work with over the last 18 months including Rick Foot, Beth Porter and Alan Cook to name a few. The live gigs coming up and the variety of line up you can expect at various venues so keep checking the live dates page for more info. We also talked about future holds, I'm starting to put together songs for the next album, learning a few mandolin chords and hoping for a generous benefactor to give me a Villa Cup Final ticket, think I'll have to settle for a front row seat at the local.
Anyway thanks James for great time and for playing the Florence tune.
